ENARIS will be exhibiting at Medica 2019 in Dusseldorf - where among other things we’ll be looking for potential distributors for our medical/lab products.

We’ll also be looking for companies interested in working with us on product developments, using our expertise in absorbency & material science.

And we’ll be introducing our sustainable, plastic-free solutions to the medical and healthcare market – including our award-winning Earthfilm.

Mark Lingard, Marketing Manager, said: “Medica’s a great show, with so many companies in the same place at the same time, so it is great opportunity. For any potential overseas distributors this could be a good opportunity to meet.

“We’re exhibiting as part of the Infomedix stand in Hall 16, one of the busiest halls in the heart of the show and where a lot of the national pavilions are located.

Enaris – the new name for Sirane’s medical division – has been created to service medical, laboratory, dental, care-home, emergency and veterinary sectors.

And Enaris Lab’s compliant product range offers the full secondary packaging solution for anyone looking to safely transport diagnostic specimens. Enaris Lab also offers BenchSafe, our own brand of absorbent spillage protection papers.

But we’d also be interested to talk to people selling into hospitals/health services – as we have products for operating theatre/scrubs area/maternity use – such as anti-slip absorbent floor mats, emergency spill pads and tourniquet drapes.

We also acquired a company last year with a high level of expertise in bags and pouches – which has allowed us to develop products in this area, and of particular interest might be our thermally-insulated products, as well as their capabilities to offer bag/pouches with multiple compartments.

And our popular Earth Packaging range includes plastic-free bags, pouches and films, as well as an amazing new ‘water-proof cardboard’, which may have all manner of potential applications in the medical and healthcare world.

Earthpouch and Earthfilm might also be of interest for the pharma sector.

Jeremy Haydn-Davies, Enaris MD, said: “Medica is a real opportunity to discuss any development projects you may have. Over the years Enaris has developed several new products which have been driven by customers’ needs.

“If there’s a gap in the market, and Enaris could possibly make or develop the product that would fill that gap, then please let us know. We’ve got some products we’re currently developing that have come down this route.

“The Infomedix stand is aimed at distributors, and if you’re a distributor from anywhere in the world, looking for new and innovative products, then be  sure to come and meet our team. This is very much about what we could make as well as what we do make – so take the opportunity to find out more.”

Medica runs from November 18-21. If you’re at the show, and think it might be worth meeting, then email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. – or just visit us in Hall 16, Stand B43

BenchSafe - absorbent spillage protection for labs

ENARIS has launched its own brand of absorbent spillage protection for laboratories – a cost-effective product which helps to protect expensive lab equipment.

The new BenchSafe range offers absorbent protection for laboratories, hospitals, surgeries and other clinical environments where high absorbency and sterile surface protection is required. It has a highly absorbent surface and an effective liquid barrier layer to ensure spillages are contained and protect work surfaces.

Jeremy Haydn-Davies, Enaris MD, said: “BenchSafe is an absorbent, impermeable faced cellulosic fabric suitable for protection of expensive laboratory benches and similar surfaces, and other laboratory equipment, from spillage.

“This is a great product, which is always very well received by customers working in the laboratory sector as well as elsewhere within the healthcare sector. It’s available in a range of handy sizes and formats to suit a wide variety of uses.

“Enaris is the trading name of Sirane’s medical and healthcare division, and Sirane are the European market leaders in absorbency – so you can be assured you’re buying a great product from a company with expertise in its field.

“Not only that, but as you’re buying direct from the manufacturer, it’s cost-effective. We can guarantee a great product but can also guarantee a great price.”

BenchSafe is strong and tear resistant even when wet and its flat smooth surface can be written on with pencil or ink. Used BenchSafe can be readily disposed of after use and its clean composition means that it is suitable for incineration.

We have a range of products to suit all users: BenchSafe is available as standard in pre-cut sheets 49cm x 60cm and on a roll 49cm x 50m, while the more absorbent BenchSafe Plus range is available in 49cm x 60cm and on a 50m roll.

In addition, BenchSafe Flexi is a more light-weight, malleable and soft to the touch version, which is available as 49cm x 60cm cut sheets only.

BenchSafe is one of a number of products manufactured by Enaris which are perfect for use in laboratories: we also offer 95 kPa bags and specimen bags, absorbent pads and pouches for compliant specimen transportation, and absorbent tray-liners.

Other products offered by Enaris include non-slip disposable absorbent floor mats used in operating theatres, scrubs, urology, maternity and more – and sold into the NHS via the Supply Chain - and products such as spill pads and incontinence sheets.

In November we’ll be exhibiting at the Medica tradefair in Dusseldorf, Germany – if you’re interested in BenchSafe – or any other product - and going to be at the show, be sure to get in touch. Sirane/Enaris will be part of the InfoMedix stand.

We’d also love to hear from distributors – both in the UK and overseas. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., including a summary of your company.
